| Manitowoc, WI- Irrigation booms are a common tool for watering greenhouse crops and often incorporate different nozzles to provide a range of droplet sizes and flow rates. However, traditional boom nozzles may not provide the fine mist needed to increase humidity without applying excessive moisture. DRAMM's new JetFog Boom Kit adds a row of JetFog Nozzles to an irrigation boom, producing fine, 80-micron droplets ideal for humidification during propagation.  For young seedlings and other sensitive crops, conventional irrigation boom nozzles can sometimes apply too much water, potentially disturbing seedlings or keeping growing media overly wet. The JetFog system provides a finer mist that increases humidity while minimizing water applied to the media. Operating at just 50 psi, JetFog Nozzles produce a fine fog at a low flow rate, allowing growers to maintain humidity around developing plants without oversaturating the growing media. The JetFog Boom Kit includes JetFog 4-Way Nozzles, PolyRail to support the nozzles, PE tubing, and most of the fittings needed to connect the system to an existing irrigation boom.
