Manitowoc, WI- Outwardly, the NEW Dramm PCAS Emitter has a larger body than the previous model. On the inside, this change will help reduce clogging over time. By increasing the body of the emitter, we have increased the space available for the labyrinth. This allows for a wider path. A wider path allows more particulate to pass without trouble. While proper filtration is important, this improvement takes into account a wide variety of water quality issues that occur in the horticultural industry. The new PCAS Emitter keeps the same benefits of our older model: a silicone diaphragm, a durable acetal body and a wider range of pressure compensation.
