Manitowoc, WI- Dramm Corporation’s family of Hydra sprayers has a new addition: the Dramm HydraSkid. The HydraSkid is the younger sibling to the Dramm Hydra Spraytrax. Both hydraulic sprayers include a 5.5 HP Honda motor and a stainless steel triplex piston pump that is fully adjustable up to 500 psi. The HydraSkid, however, forgoes the Spraytrax’s cart and instead is fixed on a sturdy steel frame. This skid design allows the operator to use a forklift to easily load the machine onto a vehicle or cart. Another advantage of the HydraSkid is that it can be fully operated from one end of the unit. The motor, pump, pressure regulator, pressure gauge, filter and drain are all located under the reel and in front of the 50-gallon tank, making the devices easily accessible. Additional features of the HydraSkid include an adjustable pattern Turbo Gun, a 150-foot or 250-foot hose, and a sump designed to maintain pressure even when the tank volume decreases. Dramm’s line of chemical application equipment is excellent for applying insecticides, fungicides, growth regulators, fertilizers, disinfectants and other chemicals. To purchase a Dramm sprayer, contact your local distributor. For more information about the New HydraSkid please call Dramm at the numbers to the left, email us or check out the Hydra web page for more information. |
